About Bill Moyer
Bill Moyer is the co-founder and Chairman of SOS Leadership Institute, an international organization commited to “developing leaders that make a difference”.
He previously served as the Executive Director of the National Fellowship of Catholic Men, a national organization that was established in 2001 to help men become better husbands and fathers. He is a founding board member of the Central TX Fellowship of Catholic Men and a founding member and retired COO of the Catholic Men’s Leadership Alliance. He currently serves as a Board Member and Advisor for CMLA.
Bill has spoken to leaders representing thirty-six countries and forty-nine states including a 2 week tour of Poland speaking to Catholic Men’s Leaders in 7 different cities each year in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022. He was a keynote speaker and US delegate at the 1st International Men’s Leadership Summit in Rome in 2018 that included a private audience with Pope Francis. He has also spoken at more than 100 youth rallies, retreats, and school assemblies. In the past 10 years he has been the keynote speaker at many Catholic conferences all over the U.S. representing over 200,000 participants. He is the co-author of 4 books: Seeds of Success, A Journey from Success to Significance, Retreat to Success, Living Your Life on Purpose, The Turnaround, and Beware of Alligators and Ugly Stuff. ! Bill and his son, Billy also had a successful radio show for several years on Relevant Radio titled ‘It’s Your Call’ that addressed the issues that men face in their journey from success to significance. Bill and Billy have conducted over 100 confirmation retreats in the Diocese of Austin and 25 men’s retreats across the US.
He resides in Waco, TX, with his wife Rose of forty-five years. He has four grown children and nine grandchildren. Bill and Rose have received numerous awards for their work with youth, the homeless, senior citizens, their parish, and the Central Texas community. They served as Youth Ministers at St Jerome’s for over 14 years. He taught the confirmation class at St Jerome’s for 29 years and teaches and directs the RCIA program. He completed studies to be a Spiritual Director in the Diocese of Austin and was certified in 2020.
